Reading Forge Classroom — Terms of Service
Forge Learning Technologies LLC · Effective: July 18, 2026
- The service. Reading Forge Classroom is a classroom management and structured-literacy teaching app for schools. A free preview tier (letters, short vowels, and blends) is included; the full curriculum requires a license.
- Licenses. Licenses are sold per student seat under a school domain license, or as a single-classroom license (one teacher, up to 35 students), for the term stated on your invoice — typically one year. A domain license covers teachers signing in with email addresses on the licensed domain, up to the seat count purchased. Licenses are not transferable between schools. Scholarship licenses are granted at our discretion and may be renewed annually.
- Accounts. Teacher sign-in uses your Google or Apple account; you're responsible for keeping it secure. Students do not have accounts.
- Acceptable use. Use the app for classroom instruction. Do not reverse engineer the app, resell access, share licenses across unlicensed schools, or attempt to access another school's data.
- Student data. Handled per our Privacy Policy and, for licensed schools, our Data Processing Agreement, which controls if there's a conflict.
- Warranty & liability. The app is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the license fees paid by your school in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
- Termination. We may suspend service for material breach; you may cancel at the end of your term. If we materially fail to provide the service and don't fix it within 30 days of notice, you're entitled to a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees.
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
